I don't have a wireless router (I am not going to buy one) , I don't have the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector (I might buy it if it is the only way) . On the Wii, I selected the option, "Search for Access Point". After a short search, it found one access point. It read something like, "link_SYS_40733". I first thought it was my Comcast High Speed Internet modem. If it is my Comcast modem, please tell me where to find the code to unlock the security on it. If it isn't the modem, will the USB Connector work on my WIndows ME computer?

If you dont ahve a wireless router then that is not yours. Your Wii more then likely picked up a signal from your neighbors. Unless you get a wireless router the Nintendo connecter is the only way. But if you want to check the code anyway just incease look at your Modem and flip it upside down there is a series of numbers about 10 or so. The numbers are accually on the modem. Well good luck!

You will need a Wifi router. A good home broadband router with Wifi will cost you about US$30-50. Your broadband modem would plug into that, as would any PCs that only have Ethernet network cards (you would use Cat5 cable for that). Any router that supports Wireless-B networking will work (including newer Wireless-G or Wireless-N routers, as long as they aren't configured for G- or N-Only operation). The Wii Web Browser, also called the Internet Channel, costs 500 Wii points, which equals US$5.00. It is a one time fee, and aside from your normal monthly internet bill, there are no other charges.

It is most likely a neighbors access point you have found and the only way for you to get the code is to ask him/her for it. But I would not count on them giving it to you.

And no the usb connector will not work on your computer unless your computer.
