OOOOOOOoo I'd have to be really sarcastic in this one, and certainly it might not be accepted.

SLAVERY by any definition is likely the most immoral act anyone of us as a species has inflicted on another.

Beyond the fact that you add too much diologue to your detail, I suggest you Express it as the most vile of things.

I offer an anaology that might not be accpeted by the African American community, which I am not a member of, but empathize with.

Assume for a moment that anyone in any level of prison administration is as much a "prisoner" as are the "inmates"

That said, I think you should craft an image showing slave gatherers, sellers, owners,,, with shackles, chains, etc. around their necks, legs, wrists, even in an assumed view of LEADING their captors.

Beyond that, and with no real offense to you. WHY do you ask OTHERS to do your research on such a vaild topic. GADS!

The Europeans did not introduce Africa to slavery. When African tribes battled with each other, the winners would take the losers as slaves, so the concept of slavery was already there. (The concept of slavery has been around for thousands of years, actually)

Death rate was high, of course, because of poor nutrition, deplorable working conditions, getting beaten, or sometimes just flat-out murdered by the masters.

As for a cartoon to draw, I have no idea. Maybe have a slave-owner complimenting another slave-owner on how good his fields look, then the second slave-owner taking full credit for the fields even though it's the slaves in the background that are doing all the work.
