Someone told me that the show is getting pretty raunchy, especially for the time slot that it is in.

in this week episode of "My name is Earl" they were on cops. Earl and Joy stole the police car and got caught by the cops. Randy got stuck in a tree. And got shot with a tranquilizer dart because he was afraid to come down.Then he landed on the trampoline and bounced off of it and fell on the ground. Then they were at the bar watching the episode of cops that they were on wit h all their friends.
IT WAS HILARIOUS SORRY U MISSED IT! I LOVE THAT SHOW!!!

Everyone was in the bar, but the bar was out of food. It didn't matter because an old repeat of COPS, staring those near and dear, came on the tube, and everybody watched as hilarity ensued.
Joy was preggers w/Earls son, (he is Earl's boy, right?).
Hilarious domestic violence, telling the cops the crimes about to be committed, stealing the cops car w/a cameraman in the back seat. Picking up Joy to give her a "date" with the stolen cop car. Stopping one of Earl's ex-girlfriends & harrassing her. Having relations in the backseat while the cameraman filmed. Joy running buck-nekked up an alley & hiding in a dumpster with a dumpster-dweller, after the Cops find the missing cop car...
Just funny stuff.
Tim Stack, who wrote the episode, played himself as the town celebrity-drunk (driver), and is pulled over by a cop that happens to be a huge fan. It's just crazy. Cop let's him go saying, "It's a straight-shot home once he gets past the school". Later, he's hit a telephone pole, and a different cop comes up and he orders a burger & fries.
Oh, and there was a hole in the story about Darnell. I'm begining to wonder if he's really in the Witness Protection Program...
and Randy still can't get the words right to "Bad Boys".
Not any more raunchy than would be expected from the likes of Earl.

It was hilarious!! Probably one of the funniest episodes thus far and yes, it was a little bit on the raunchy side but the censors approved it or it wouldn't have been allowed to air. Some of my favorite lines from the show: Earl to his wife: "you had me at balls."
Earl after tripping over his pants: 'Ohhhh....I've skinned my pecker!!!' And the officer explaining why he let the drunk driver go: 'It's a straight shot home after you pass the school.'
I think this episode's been posted on youtube but not sure.

this past episode was about a time when the TV show COPS came to their town. it was pretty funny.
but overall, this past season has been disappointing. it isn't as funny as it used to be.

EARL AND RANDY HAD MADE THE "COPS" EPISODE A FEW YEARS EARLIER. THIS WAS MOST OF IT. MEEMEE FROM DREW CAREY WAS ONE OF THE COPS, THEY STOLE HER CAR AND EARL AND HIS WIFE HAD SEX IN IT, GOT CAUGHT AND RAN AWAY WITH THE CAMERAS STILL CHASING THEM..

it was hysterical, they were all in the bar and it showed when they were all on cops two years ago. it rocked.
