They aren't all that skinny at the bottom though.

i had the same problem when i bought my straight leg (i'm too big for the skinny) jeans. go with a pair of ballet flats or pointy heel shoes or basically any style shoe that is below the ankle or way above. if it falls in between, it looks chunky.

If the length of the leg is too long to wear flats with them, then go with a heel.
Even though the pointy toe look is in, it doesn't look good on all people. I wear a size 10, so they just make my foot look enormous. Be your own judge on that.
Depending on the color of your outfit, mainly the color of your top, you can decide what shade of shoe would look best. If you are wearing black, practically any color shoe will look good. A bright bold color looks good if you have a matching color accesory such as a purse or headband. Think of a black top with those skinny jeans, with bright red patent pumps and large red earrings or a red bag. Now on the other hand, brown hued shoes match nicely with pastel or earth colors.

If I were you I'd wear below the knee length tan boots with fur on the top. They are in right now, and they are good with skinny jeans. Tuck the bottom of the jeans into the boots. Also they are good with short skirts, too.

Ballet flats are cute for a daytime look, and maybe heels for the night.
If you wear boots you can tuck your jeans into them and then people won't be able to see the flared bit at the bottom.

Flats, like what Audrey Hepburn wore in the film "Funny Face". Her pants in that movie was the inspiration for skinny jeans.

a pointy toed heel or ballet flats are in and look great with skinny jeans, you can get them at pretty much any shoe store too!

FLATS BABY! they are by far the best choice!!
tennis shoes, clogs, or any other large shoe is a no no
flats, ballet flats, pumps, wedges, are fine

High heel boots that go just below the knee, real leather.
High heels will elongate your legs and make you look even hotter
