Imagine being invited to a new friend's house for dinner. Once there you are shocked by the filth. You see tiny roaches hiding in corners, stains on the couch, and other nastiness. You can tell that the friend has made an effort to clean up somewhat, and judging by their appearence you can't imagine them being that filthy. You suspect the family they reside with is to blame, as all of them appear a lice infested. Do you stay for Dinner? How do you react?

if you can figure a creative way to leave without being rude, do so.
suggest to your friend that you'd thought it was a night with just the 2 of you , that you just remembered you're supposed to be somewhere, pray for the phone to ring... anything the situation will allow. otherwise, stay and just pick at your food and say you don't feel well if asked. next time try to go by the house before the dinner and check it out. just be nice as not everyone's level of hygiene is on a par.

I personally would not stay. I would ask this person to dinner at my house or out to eat. If asked why just tell them you are feeling a bit shy.

Avoid it like the plague!! That's what you'll have if you stick around. Besides if you stay, you'll act wierd because you're uncomfortable and it will show. Then you'll be sick and itchy from lice for a while,. not worth it.

My friend has rats in his trailer and they come out at night and when he sleeps on the couch they nibble on his fingers.
Its gross how he lives, but somepeople like it. I don't.
There isn't one roach in my house and that is the way I like it.

when i got there i would pretend to be sick and have to leave immediately.But apologize for not being able to stay. then next time ask to eat at my house.

i would make my phone start beeping and tell them that your mom really needs you right now and tell them maybe you could make it up to them some other time
