I would say it's just what I expected. Even though I am only 21 and I don't have alot of experience in being an adult. I still have the freedom that I thought I would have and I enjoy it!

I think it's much easier to be a child then an adult because an adult has much more responsibility then a child has.

No, it isn't what I expected it to be.
It's more stressful and joyful all at the same time.
The joy is all the little things. The unconditional hugs, the playing, just being in the moment and experiencing whatever comes our way or we choose to explore that day.
The stress is really more a hope.
I hope that whatever lessons I do teach (the good ones :) stay with them for the rest of their lives.
I want the best for my daughters. I want them to be open, decent, independent minded, goal oriented, positive spirits.
The stress always revolves around: "Am I good enough?"

It's not as if you carry your childhood mind with you into adulthood, so your perceptions of almost everything change over time. This makes it difficult to compare the expectations of childhood with the experiences of adulthood.
However, I very much agree with what Kimmy Kandde and JC had to say. It's harder and better at the same time, but in ways that my childhood mind could hardly have begun to comprehend.

It's both-just not as glamorous as I thought it would be.I do have all the things I set out to have as a child-I now realize how much work it is to have those things in my life. I always wanted to be married, travel, have lots of pets etc.. and I have that now-I just have to work hard to have those things!

When I was a girl, I had all sorts of dreams that never came to pass.
But I'm enjoying what is in my life now. :)
