Well, the Constitution limits service of a President to two terms. But look for Bush to at least try to find a way around that -- it clearly hasn't bothered him to trash the Constitution at any other time.

It's not really his war, Bill Clinton started the whole thing and left the government in a mess. If we pulled out right now America would be a prime insurgent/terrorist target for bombing. If you don't like America go live in Iraq or Iran and be happy there.

I think it will be a big relief for him to hand over the reigns to someone else. It is shameful the way that he has been treated. I am anxious to see how dispirited all his attackers will be when they see that the new president will not be any better...and probably not as good as Bush.

I don't think it will happen. The U.S. will not chage the rule for George Bush. You can only get two four year terms, and that is it. No exceptions. I also don't think Bush and Cheney could pull it off. They have done enough damage to this country.

You don't have to worry, history will be kind to the president and you are still safe, you haven't been attacked by a terrorist attack since 9/11 so it isn't a failure.

No, it would take more than asking for him to do so.
I don't think his presidency IS a failure, and I think it will be regarded in a kinder way thirty years from now.

He can't, that would go against the twenty second amendment of the Constitution.

Yeah, he might ask. Hopefully, the court is smart enough not to give it to him.

Anyone who says yes: doesn't know our country, doesn't know politics, doesn't know the Constitution, and doesn't know Bush.

In fact, they don't know sh*t. Would have to be liberals.
