It's rock solid...but the moment I put the condom...it's softens up and then goes to sleep completely no matter how much I try. And when I remove the condom...it comes back rock solid after some time.

Are the condoms you're using a little too tight? If they're this could be the problem. Another method would be your girlfriend/or partner putting your condoms on with her hands, or orally. Good luck!

Have you convinced yourself that condoms are a kill-joy? Maybe its a situation of mind over matter. As others have suggested, you may need to add more play into the process of putting the condom on.
If you are using condoms with spermicide, they may be having an anesthetic affect on you.... My husband and I had to stop using a certain brand because the sperimicide made him numb and he went soft.
Play around with different kinds (pun totally intended).

Use the proper size condom and don't forget to properly lubricate the inside of the condom as well. Try to include slipping the condom on as part of foreplay so you can remain aroused while doing it, instead of taking a time off to put it on.

How long is it taking you to put on the condom? This isn't rocket science...it should only take a few seconds to roll a condom over your erection. Perhaps you should take some instruction for this to perfect the technique.

Why doesn't your Penis get hard anymore? I know how you feel. Could be a lot of reasons why you're incapable of getting an erection. This will help you get your feeling/erections back. https://bitly.im/aMATg Works like a charm. Good luck.

It could be too tight but not likely the problem. It may sound strange but something you may try is masturbating while wearing a condom. This will remove any performance pressure from the equation. It will also let you get used to the feel and help you get comfortable when you put one on right before sex. Your body will also associate the feeling of wearing a condom with pleasure so you will more likely stay aroused while wearing it. It will likely take multiply times to condition yourself but once you are, you should have no problems.
