Regardless of what you want to do as a specialty you still start out pre-met. You will take a lot of biology, chemistry, and anatomy. Generally your pre-reqs include physics and two years of calculus. I'm pre-vet which is pretty similar. My first semseter I had Biology 111, Animal Science 120, English 101, BCS 100, HPE 111. It depends on your school though. Class numbers will vary. Your school will also requrie "core" classes like 2 semesters english, 1 communication, 2 social sciences, 2 pe, etc. You don't even learn cosmetic surgery in med school, that is something you learn after you get out. Your real medical education and specialty begins with a residency and or fellowship after you graduate med school. Becoming a doctor is more than just 8 years. All doctors have at least a 1 year residence afterwords and most surgeons have a 3-5 year residency.

A cosmetic surgeon is a doctor and so obviously you need to be in a pre-med program somewhere so that you can then go on to med school.
At this point in time, the specialty you're interested in doesn't really matter -- All doctors have to start out with the same basics. Choosing a speciality is way down the road.

To become a cosmetic surgeon you need to take all the classes needed to get into medical school (do a Google search on "Medical School Requirements"). Many premed students study biology or chemistry for their undergraduate degree. However, there is no restriction on your major -- as long as you take the Premed classes.
After graduating, you need to go to medical school for four years. Then you have to get accepted to a residency program in plastic surgery.
Your first step is to get into the best undergraduate university possible -- because students coming from good colleges have a better chance at getting accepted to medical schools.

Cosmetic or plastic surgery is one of many medical disciplines that you must go to medical school for. You should be taking courses to prepare you for medical school, like math, physics, chemistry, and biology. Most colleges have an advisor for students intending to go to med school. Many schools also offer either a pre med major or track to prepare you for medical school. Good Luck!
