why change the name if its supposed to be spelt like JADE? dont forget, jade is a semi-precious stone, so if you aptly want to name your child Jade, remember the meaning of it and use the original spelling, otherwise it might sound too 'made-up' if you see what i mean!

There's only one way to spell 'Jade', and that would be Jade.
If you're looking for synonyms then I suppose your alternatives are acceptable, though illiterate.

I grew up with a name that was spelled differently.
Don't do it to the child. They are so deprived. You know those cute little license plates you put on your bike.....she won't get one. Key chains,, wrapping paper, tons of stuff.....she won't be able to get because of a weird name.
PLUS.....some people can't pronounce it.
