His mailing address is probably the same as his home address. You need a London A to Z which has all the streets in London and you can look up the road and then see where it is. If you have an area, like Northwood or Hackney you could get to the nearest tube station and then take a taxi for the last bit.

First of all, before you show up at his door, you need to check and see where he lives. London is like NY or Atlanta where people say they live in those cities but are actually in another town. I suggest you go to map.google.co.uk and type in his post code. Here you want to see the the location of your friend's house...if it's in London or the outskirts. If he's actually in London, I'd recommend taking the tube. But I don't suggest it if you're going to have a lot of baggage. It's hot with no A/C and usually crowded during rush hours.

Use the tube's journey planner. You have the option of entering the post code or actual address for directions. Select them from the drop down menu.

I'm not sure if I recommend you showing up without investigating the area your friend lives in first, London is a very complex city and by that I mean that the roads don't make any sense. So if your friend lives on a street where there isn't much public transportation or in a bad neighborhood, you could be in a bad situation - like sitting on the kurb. I'm not trying to kill your surprise, I'm just saying I don't want you to take a trip and have no idea what you're getting into. But use the link I've given you and take a picture of your friends' shocked face! Have fun!

Hey dude, I'd go with the instructions on top, and I saw that you needed to download from youtube, the only way I know of right now is downloading firefox at this address and its free:

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

Then when you get it, open foxfire and download the download helper at this adress:

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/3006

that should be just about all you need.
