how can i get latias and latios on my team?

I know that i need to defeat latios then rescue latias... but how do i get latios to come? and how many floors each dungeon i have to do?

i have red so i can help latios is loceted on the 25th floor of the
northern range defat him with silver spikes & iron thorns and your moves when done latios will tell u why he stole the tm's from the kecleon bros after a brief cut scene 2 show u where latias is which is pitfall valley on the 25th floor just like her brother latios was in the northern range latios won't join u until u rescue his sister latias first i know this because i'm looking at the pokemon mystery dugeon red & blue stratagey guide from prima pages 57 & 58.the one with the yellow cover good luck & glad 2 help a fellow pokemon player :)
