Nope ... not gonna happen.
CD's and DVD's are recorded differently, a CD drive will not read a DVD even though a DVD drive will read a CD.

Everyone is right, except the guy who said they are not cheap, you can get a DVD drive for around $35. Got to newegg.com.

One way you could do it would be to purchase an external dvd drive and connect that (through a usb port) to your computer. Using just the current configuration, no.

there is no way for u to watch DVD movies that u rent or buy
BUT
u can watch movies if u burn them urself
they have to be
# 1.....under 700mb....if the movie is over 700 mb..it will not fit on the cd
# 2u have to use something like nero..or sonic to burn movie as data....make a data cd
# 3 u have to have CODECS here are the 2 u will need

No. But i'd recomend buying and properly installing one! Theres multiple websites where you can download movies to write onto empty CD's and watch on your PC.

I believe that it is not possible.. I have tried it.. Anyways jusy download the dvd part to the computer,... Its easy!.. Unless im wrong then sorry about that....
