similar features as a luxurious car or a the car itself? The benefit of cart is there would no pollution. With car you have to take the guilt of adding pollution to world everytime. But there are some other pros and cons as well . Major con with a horse driven cart is that it is very slow. But that again can be a good thing since you never have to worry about accidents. Which one would you choose?

Give me a car. Horse driven carriages are romantic and fun but society has moved on. How about trucks being pulled by eight horses or more? How about travelling 50 miles to and from work? Not possible, so no thank you.
Plus I like not stepping in horse s*** when I cross the street :-)

I would like a horse and cart existence purely because it seems so much more romantic and gentler...but.....the history is just as BAD as modern times for accidents and deaths...see the link below for a really informative page on how it 'really' was.

The car, because the horse has to be fed and taken care of plus it can only carry so much

I would rather think about bio fuels to run the car instead of trying to turn back the clock.
