I not only believe in them, but I know they exist. Weres aren't like you see on television though. You can't become one and they're really not much different than anyone else.

I don't know if I should or not. Part of me says yes, that's the part that feel like a wold; this one time I did it so good I literally scared the pants off of these boys in 8th grade Science - we'd been reading about wolves - they walked in the room and all I did was look at them - they quick rushed to their table looked up the aricle and soon after that my nickname of wolf came into being. I hated it, soon it got to the point that I hated the very word wolf. That all changed when I came upon this hybrid - he showed me how loyal and great friends they are - with him I felt more like a wolf than any thing. I mean the whole nine yards without getting on all fours. So now you may have the honor of asking me if I am nuts? I will be blunt and tell you no.

It depends on how you define it.
If you are looking for hollywood's idea of werewolves, then you are sol.

But, you can become friends with a wolf, meditate with him/ her, learn to astral project and go and actually communicate with him/her on one of the the Astral layers of existence, and make an agreement to experi, emt in Astral Projecting to each other's bodies and take temporary possession. I don't know why you would want to do so, I did a few times and while it's kind of interesting to see the wolrd froma wolf's point of view, it' snot all that earth-shaking or anything.

Assuming you want to do it, visit a national park like Yosemite or move to an area near where wolf-packs live naturally and (after you have learned how to Astral Project) project and find them running in the night, night after night. Point out prey, get involved and help out however you can.

I hope that helps!!!

Older literature on this topic talks of many ways to turn into a werewolf. Most of them involved selling your soul to the devil etc, making a pact with the devil yadda yadda yadda.
Some thought that if you drank the water from the paw print of a wolf, ate wolf flesh, ate a wolf brain, ate a particular flower (apparently the type of flower was forgotten), anointed your body with some kind of a salve, wore an enchanted wolf skin or performed other kinds of rituals. A lot of the older legends talk of receiving a wolf skin or a "wolf strap" from the Lord of the Forest (he wore all black and most of the priests were convinced that it was a euphemism for the devil) that allowed people to turn into wolves at will.
Most of the priests believed that such an act of transformation was only possible through diabolic influences but the older folklore literature of Europe regarded it as otherwise. You'll find a lot of tales from other parts of the world involving all sorts of other "were" creatures, from rabbits, jaguars, hyenas etc.
Most people also don't know of the many werewolf trials that happened throughout Europe. Most of the European legends about this area are clouded or destroyed by Christianity (not to mention the hollywood crap that you see now!). Countless people were killed on merely the suspicion of werewolfery during that period. And you thought it was only witches didn't you?

I hope this information is what you're looking for,

Cheers,

Warewolves are also known as Lycans and in American Indian legends as "Windigo"

Here in Oregon, there is a place called "Windigo Pass"

I think all myth has it's start in reality - what that reality might be is somewhat uncertain - but I have memories of being face-to-chest with a hairy beast at age 8 in the hills outside the town I lived in when I was a kid in Europe - and the next memory is of seeing what appeared to be the rear-end of a large dog, scurrying off behind some bushes...

Since that time, I have always had trouble sleeping during the full moon - and I always have more energy during that time - and every woman with whom I have had a long-term sexual relationship with, had "adjusted" her period to be on, or 1 day after the full moon...

Draw your own conclusions from there.

I don't think you are nuts but there is no such thing as a werewolf, however, there is a disease which causes hair to grow on the face. I can't remember the name of the disease right now but that started the werewolf craze in the middle ages.

I do not believe the werewolf, as depicted by Hollywood, exists but there is a condition called lycanthrophy in which people convince themselves they are able to take on the characteristics of a wolf.

But there are also unexplainable cases such as the Beast of Bray Road in Wisconsin and the Georgia Werewolf in Talbot County, Ga.

The Georgia Werewolf, a lady named Isabella Burt, who died in 1911, is well-documented. A farmer shot off the foot of what he described as a large wolf-like creature and the following day, the doctor was called to the Burt farm to treat Isabella. Her left hand had been shot off.

According to the legend, she was bitten by a creature on a trip to Europe and the problems began when she returned. But although the legend claims Isabella actually turned into a wolf, it is more likely that she only imagined she became a wolf and attacked animals in a wolf-like manner, and the shooting of the wolf and Isabella losing her hand was just a coincidence.

I don't believe in...ghosts...werewolves...the devil....or god. I don't believe in broken mirrors bringing you bad luck..or the black cat crossing my path...or walking under a ladder. There is no such thing as bad luck...or good luck....life just happens and we have no control.
