If you are truly upset about it the best thing to do is talk this the person who caused you to be upset explain too him how you feel after he let the dog eat your stressball .

first off this sounds like a very stressful situation, and he should have bought you a new one,seeing that he did not, ask him to sit still while you punch him several times in his face, then ask him do I look better NOW?
and no matter what he says, hit him several times more ,then say your tired and you will be back later to finish this talk, but feel free to go to the mall and buy me something
