Is it whitish and flaky and ends up around the corners? If so, you could be dehydrated and low in essential fatty acids. Try Cod liver oil tablets, sunflower seeds, nuts and olives.
Alternatively, it could be thrush. Check your tongue. Is there a whitish film? If so, cut out sugar and start eating plain, unsweetened, no fruit yoghurt.
Check with your GP as well because if it is thrush it could be an indicator of something else.
