When I turn on my laptop it says

Invalid LBAI

What does that mean? I already tried restoring it and opening it in dos....what else can I try? Thank you!

reset it as laptop is starting up keep hitting on da F8 key go into safemode .then when as desktop in safe mode click on start>all programs > accessories> system tools >system restore
restore my computer to an earlier time . hit on next on da right click on a date going back to where ur laptop was ok then hit on next system restore be done. then restart ur pc if still same problem call your manufacturer laptop support

That is associated with a corruption in your laptop's boot process. It's not able to read your drives correctly. This is not a simple quesiton or answer, you should probably refer this to tech forum like www.annoyances.org. All you have to do is register and then ask your question, someone out there will know what to do.

It sounds suspiciously like you're using Symantec Ghost on the computer. Disable that or remove it and then Restore.

You may have to start the computer in "Safe Mode" to accomplish this.
