Some PC's like older Samsungs have a regular video out phono socket that you can plug directly into the Aux-in phono socket on your TV. Later PCs don't usually have that facility but may have it on a docking station which supports legacy devices. Failing that you are probably into a fairly expensive VGA-TV convertor box.

A VGA cable is also an option, assuming both the TV and the laptop have it.

you can but a vga to s video adapter for about 15 pounds
you will need the s-video wire and an s-video input
you can also but an s-visdeo to scart adapter.

so vga to s video, s-video to scart.
and you will need a small stereo jack to phono lead from your headphone output to the phono input of your TV.
It is easier than it sounds.
