Why don't more Americans know they have never been apart from British control?
London is the financial Capital of the world and the bank of England controls every Americans life, but they still insist they are free!
Always confused me, why are they are oblivious!

New York is the financial capitol of the world.
American multi-national companies and individuals own a lot of the UK - maybe your question would be if the Brits know they are paying rent to the USA.
BTW, did you know the the UK just sent in their last payment for the loans the USA made to them for World War 2?

We do not pay taxes to England. The bank of england my have stock in the US treasury, but So does China. Are you saying that we're under Chinese law and such?
