why do cats & dogs tongues curl up like one of those party squawker/blowouts when they yawn?

have you noticed people's tongues doing that during a yawn, mine curls alittle bit but not like the pets!

Because there tong is a mussel, and its just like stretching except it curls instead of going straight.
