I know a lot of transvestites, transgenders, transexuals, etc. and I'd have to say no.

That's getting into a pretty grey area... I've known transvestite men, and most of 'em don't fit Marilyn Manson's behavior.
At the same time, David Bowie was known for wearing a great deal of makeup and ambisexual clothing... so not sure what qualifies anymore...
So I think it could go either way... he certainly has a unique image.

no he's not a transvestite at all
a transvestite is someone who likes to wear women's clothes and feel feminine like a woman. marilyn manson doesn't fit that description... he's a goth shock rocker. he doesn't wear real women's clothes. billy corgan wore some kind of dress for a concert too, that doesn't make him a transvestite. they don't wear actual women's clothes or wear them in everyday life.

Well, if he dresses like a woman, than according to any dictionary, I believe transvestite would be the appropriate term.

No! I'm absolutely positive that he isn't a travestite. There are certain pix,where you can see him in that kind of clothes,but he does that,because he's an artist and he tries to be volgar and kind of attractive with his appearance. But he is certainly not a travestite.

i'd be considering him a freak of nature !!! no way can you describe what 'its' supposed to be !!! all i'd want to see is him/her being locked away in a dark , dank , smelly jail cell forever !!!!!!!!!! and just toss some bread into the cell occasionally .. would be just fine with me !!!!
