well, first - if it's ebay, don't do auctions, do BiN (buy it now) so that you don't have to worry about spending time on a possible lost cause

second - the retail price of a DS Light is 129.99 - new. if you find it cheaper, other than online, a process is broken somewhere (underselling is a crime)

if you want it cheap, you'll have to go with a used DS Lite - but stores don't purposely stock them, people need to trade them in. retail stores like sears, etc.. they won't sell used DS's, but eb games and other computer/video game stores do sell them used

dont' worry about color - the color of the DS doesn't affect the price, despite something another answerer lied about

Try useing www.auctionsniper.com to place last second snipe bids if you go back to E-bay. You can set up a bid group with instructions to bid on several items you would like, and stop bidding on the others when you win one.
I hear your lucky to find a DS, they are in very short supply right now.

well unfortunetly most store will sell DS lights for the same price if you wanted one cheap youd proably have to buy a used one from an EB games or game trader store

Asian stores have them in stock, Play-Asia sells a DS Lite for around $200 (http://www.play-asia.com/SOap-23-83-3sol-71-9h-49-en-84-k.html)
YesAsia (http://www.yesasia.com) also have them online.

Hi,

http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fs%3Furl%3Dsearch-alias%253Daps%26field-keywords%3Dnintendo%2Bds%26Go.x%3D0%26Go.y%3D0%26Go%3DGo&tag=advertiwillbe-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325

When you click on an item and are on the products page choose a trusted 3rd party seller - "See all buying options" at the right. Everything is processed via Amazon.

or

Ebay Express (only selected and trusted merchants)
