Your best bet is looking at bigger stores like Wal-Mart, Target, etc. Because of their buying power, they tend to have greater pull in how many consoles they receive from Nintendo. I got mine at Wal-Mart by getting there at around 9 AM or so and asking when they might get some more in. Luckily, they were expecting a UPS truck around 11:30 that morning that could possibly have some Wiis on board. I came back around 11:20 and waited for about 15 minutes - the guy came from the back with, from what I saw, about a dozen or so Wiis. Good luck!!

Create a new folder under your favourites menu, create a list of links to popular websites like amazon & play which display the wii console & basically check each of these everyday as the wii is sure to be available within the next week or so.

I'm sure each online retailer are sure to be selling wii consoles as they get them and they go to first come first served!

Good luck!

Hiya,

there is no chance in my opinion to get a Wii soon in any retail store. As someone else mentioned somewhere all pre-orders will be fulfilled first. If any shop happens to get new stock imagine all the campers who'll sleep in front of the stores or the chaos and then within minutes all will be gone.

Another option - a very secure and reliable one which least know of actually - is to purchase a Nintendo Wii thru any trusted 3rd party seller directly at Amazon. They have good feedback, deliver on time, mostly are merchants themselves simply and Amazon operates as the platform, in fact the purchase is processed directly via Amazon as you would usually buy from them.

You might check it out at

http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FNintendo-LU502934445-Wii%2Fdp%2FB0009VXBAQ%2Fsr%3D8-1%2Fqid%3D1166291892%3Fie%3DUTF8%26s%3Dvideogames&tag=advertiwillbe-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325

and then click on "See all buying options" at the right.

This is actually currently the best choice to get your hands on a Wii at all - without any hassles.

You might also try out ebay:

or Ebay express where only selected and trusted merchants are accepted:

Hope that helps.

Best wishes
Mike

pretty much all the highstreet retailers will be out until end of feb time. check the websites of any you can think of. wiipreorder.com has a list of most of the retailers websites and has regular updates as to new stock arriving. just check all the site everyday around 10 and 11 am cos thats when most of them put new stock up for sale
