and i want to get the whole series on dvd for him. can anyone tell me whether or not i can by the complete series first to last on one dvd box set or is it just series boxsets, if so, how many series was there of the a-team?

Hey sweetie........just looked on Ebay, they have them all on there (which is cheaper) if not registered and don't want to (how very dare you!) go to www.amazon.com........ I love it when a plan comes together!

They are just in season sets. There were 5 seasons for the series... the first one was a "half season" because it was a mid season replacement series.
