I don't think so because there is no bacteria or semi-digested food there yet to produce any gas. I know that nearly full term fetus can poop, but it is called muconium and is composed mostly of dead cells and mucous from the baby's gut. Muconium in the amniotic fluid is a sign of fetal distress. They can develop lung problems if they "inhale" it.

Ive never thought about that either! Interesting question!
Hmmm...Well, the reason a person farts is becuase he/she swallowed air right? Well somehow the air got trapped in the body lol. I dont think a fetus would actually pass air in the womb becuase he/she is not getting air like we do. His/her oxygen comes from the mothers womb and umbilical cord through blood. It is only after birth that the baby will breathe "real air". There is no room for air bubbles in the womb either.
So no, the fetus probably does not fart in the womb. Good question though!

No. it is because of the fact the fetus would not definitely consume something collectively as interior the womb. Farting is brought about with the aid of digestion of fairly some kinds of ingredients and since the fetus obtains all its food with the aid of its umbilical twine, the digestive equipment isn't energetic. It does pee because of the fact the kidneys are useful and filters the blood.

Only people fart.
A fetus gets nutrition through the umbilical cord and doesn't use the developing digestive system. Thus, no farts.

I would say yes. I know that a fetus will go the bathroom in a womb so why wouldnt they pass gas? But I would say your best bet is to ask a doctor.

No LOL As you probably know, farting involves AIR (stinky air)...there's no air in the womb.

Unlikely, as they don't ingest/digest food.. they get their food from the umbilical cord and their mother's bloodstream.
