My freind cut his leg with a chainsaw. He called me today. Said he woke up this morning and had maggits oozing from his wound. Should he just scrap them aways? or go see a Dr? I told him to save the maggits for trout bait, and just go fishing cause he ain't bleedin' none.

It is hard to believe that they would just ooze from a wound. I do know that Dr. Matthew Concannon, from University of Missouri health care did research on putting *sterile* maggots on open wounds that don't heal to eat away at the dead cells. It proved to work well.
