we should stay away from stem cell research,
we should stop cancer research and any other work that can cure the worlds most terrible curses. better to flush it down the drain turn our back on science its all witchcraft and humbug, blood transfussions stem cells come from blood, stop heart transplants, liver, eye, skin, its all evil.
What ever happened to America ?
Have we all gone nuts.
of course we should have stem cell research as well as HIV, cancer, heart, congress said it is just to costly. then just shut down building jets were never going to use bombers we have enough bombs to kill anyone on earth a thousand times over, and yet were worried about helping a cripple child.

now stop going there with your stupid toy rovers ,
earth needs the money now, if you dont believe me just take a
drive through New Orleans but bring a box of Klennex your going to need them we realy let them down, America should bow their heads in shame. One half calls themselves democrat the other republican , and the entire world calls them stupid

Well, I do agree with stem cell research, not the federal funding as listed in the previous bill. The president has the power of the veto, but hopefully the new congress can come to a compromise and stop the petty fighting. Time to fix the real problems such as the war and immigration.

Bush will sign it into law the moment it hits his desk. He has no choice--if Republicans even think of not allowing this bill to pass or not overidding a veto--they will do so at their own peril. The Republican party is running scared on every homegrown issue as they realize that they have even more seats to lose in 2008. Conforming to will of the people is what is demanded of the legislature--Nov. 7th is still fresh in all their minds.

I dont get the whole stem celll thing. In CT we want it we fund it ourselves. It works out great. Why should the government pay for everything.
