oh, come along now everyone. i happen to be a very close friend of the Wig Bottom family, and i've heard directly from Mrs Wig Bottom that she feels respected and ultimately fulfilled in her marriage.

Ok, can I safely assume you did not word this question correctly?

May I suggest that you seek marriage counseling as soon as possible. There seems to be some issues in your marriage that need to be addressed immediately. If you can not get to a pyschologist that is trained in marriage counseling how about a religious leader in your church/temple/mosque?

Perhaps your wife is feeling unappreciated and is rebelling because you are not paying her enough attention. When you come home do you notice that she is pretty, smart or has done some housework? Have you complimented her on her hard work around the house? If you haven't then it is a good chance that she has stopped doing her daily routine of household chores to get even because you weren't attentive.

Trying to discipline your wife will only cause more trouble in your relationship. She is the person that you married. You agreed to marry her and treat her with respect. If you don't show it, well women have their own way of exacting revenge...burnt shirts, underwear cut up, salt in the sugar bowl. So try being extra nice and compliment her. Try courting her, but never discipline her.

Are you from the stone age? And unruly is kind of a subjective term. what may be unruly to you may be totally normal to someone else. And since this is the 21st century, no body disciplines their spouse unless they are a wife-beater. If you don't want to be with her leave her. No more, no less.

I have to agree with some of these other answers. She's your wife, not your child. You don't punish your spouse. Would you like her to punish you? How would you feel if your wife tried to control and dominate you? Not very cool. You guys are supposed to be equals!

She is your wife not your child, so you can not discipline or punish her. May be you ought to do communicate with her in a nice way. You got to compromise with her, don't be a guy only it is my way. Stop trying to be a control freak and let her do what she like to do. May youn got to change your habit. Change your approach, you may have a better chance to bring her to your camp. You go to read the book called : You just don't understand

A good, yet firm spanking, put her back in the kennel for a while, and if all else fails, a good shock collar works pretty well.....

(I do hope people can loosen up a bit and enjoy your dry humor!)....Good luck! LMAO!
