Macronutrients are nutrients needed in larger quantities. They include carbohydrates, proteins, fats and water.

Micronutrients refer to the vitamins and minerals in food . The body needs iron and sulfur and iodine and calcium andphosphorus and sodium and chlorine and oxygen and carbon and etc.

Macronutrients refers to the proteins and carbohydrates and fats.
