You just made that up, right. Wearing a ring on the middle finger does signify something but wearing a ring on the thumb is just an affectation by someone who probably wears too many rings. And remember that anything gays or lesbians might do will be copied by straights immediately as stylish, because with the gay gene, we inherit the good taste gene as well.

I didn't "know" it. But it may just symbolize that you like to wear a thumb ring on your left hand too.

Nope, not in my neck of the woods.
The only ring symbolization around here is a wedding ring on the RIGHT hand which symbolizes you're "partnered."

I have never heard that one and I work at a jewelry shop that carries gay pride accessories.. I think I would've been exposed to such knowledge, since over half my customers are gay, and 90% of my firends!
