i am using the pc world linksys router and reciever for the lap top upstairs and the pc is downstairs when i use the laptop upstairs the pc takes hours to load.....and vice versa my download speed is 2meg do i need to increase my download speed or is there something wrong with my network???????

depnds on what you are doing, if you are downloading songs and movies then it is sucking up all your bandwidth, but just connecting to the internet ought to be fine.
2mb is seen as quite slow nowadays so it is hard to tell
it will be slow if one of the computers is:
Listening to online radio
watching a video stream
playing online games
or downloading
on messenger
using a webcam or voice chat
in a chat room

idk you should upgrade to a wrt54g wireless router from linksys. Their the best.
