Ninfas baby!
Pappadeaux, but I only eat the Chicken Tenders & baked potato. I hate seafood....lol
Frenchy's on Scott St. has the best chicken & french fries, but be prepared for a long line.
Any Goode Co. place near Kirby.
Fuddruckers burgers.
I miss Luther's! But Pappas Briskethouse has the best breakfast tacos.
Other good breakfast places:
Frank's (get there early)
Dots (My friends and I used to go late into the night, to laugh at the other customers.....usually old pimps w/their entourage.)

I don't live in Houston but visit there several times a year. The first place we hit is Fuddruckers. Also Papadouex is a good place but a little on the expensive side. The Aquarium is a good place and also on the expensive side.

Chacho's baby there is nothing like it after a nite out on the town. Also Fogo De Chao is good if you have got the money.

if you like mexican food go to CHUY'S off kriby dr, if you like chinesse go to bennihanas off beechnut or cafe east on hwy 6 and bellaire...
