Pageant question. Age 9 and tall should she wear a short dress or long dress?Is there a rule?

It depends on the pageant. Check the rules because you can get dock A LOT of points if you do not follow their rules. If they do not have a rule about dress, it also depends on what kind of pageant. If it is glitz like the Sunburst system then they like dress that are custom made. Like these:

A tall 9 year old should wear a long dress to look elegant & like the age she is. If its short, she'll look like grew out of it especially if its a flair cut, if its body fitted, she'll look forced ripe. Long is definitely the way to go.
