1. you can buy junior tampons. these are really small and you will not be able to feel them. but you will have to change them often because they do not hold as much as the regulars or the plus ofcourse.
2. yes you cna pee with them in.
3. just tell her. these things are normal she will or should understand. tell her what you said on here.
and please do not forget to change them at least every 8 hours if not more often than that.

I used to wear pads and I got so sick of them, ick. I definitly prefer tampons, that's all I wear now. No, they do not hurt to put in, or take out. The first time you try it out, it may be a little uncomfortable but there should be no pain involved. Make sure you only put one in when you are on your period, don't practice when your not menstrating. Make sure you leave them in long enough to soak up enough blood so it isn't uncomfortable to take out, but also don't leave them in for more than 4 hours. You can pee with them in, it doesn't matter. Which is a good thing :) And just tell your mom that you want to try them out. She shouldn't have a problem with it, just tell her the truth, that you don't like pads. Tampons are SO much more comfortable. The only time I wear pads is at night when I'm sleeping, so I don't leave the tampon in too long. Goodluck! :)

1. If you put it in correctly, it doesn't hurt at all.

2. You can use the bathroom while wearing one.

3. "Mom, pads gross me out. Let's go to the store and get some tampons, please?"

No they don't hurt if you insert them correctly, bu you should probobly have an examination by a gynecologist before you use tampons, yes you can urinate with them in, just ask your mom and tell her your reasons for not wanting to use the pads. good luck!
