Today's Muslim Fascists have weapons that use gunpowder and explosive compounds. That is the only difference.

You are 100% correct. The crusades were defensive wars against the Muslim invasions.......and there are very few, yet significant differences. The most important difference in today's aggression and that of the past is that terrorist have greater capability to wage Jihad than in the past due to technological and mobility-migration advances. The EU, America, and the entire western civilization seems oblivious to the encroaching threat and danger to their religion, society, rights and personal freedoms, and way of life.

The UK verdict on "offensive cartoons," was the latest victory for Islam and defeat for freedom of speech in that country. Specifically, "It is against the law to depict religion or anyone in manner that incites violence." All this while radical Muslims chanted, carried and posted, "be-head the infidels" signs, and openly called for the murders and be-headings of anyone who they deemed to have insulted Islam. Incidentally, none of the "peaceful Muslims" inciting violence were arrested. Islam now dictates what you can and can't say as the Brits have caved in to Islamic demands. One can only wonder, "who is going to fall next?"

Get your history straight. The Crusades were spawned because the Holy Land (aka Isreal) had become Islamic by and large because they considered it holy as well. That and all the Christians and most of the Jews Had moved out, so they moved in. Several centuries later, Pope Urban II got it into his head that they should take it back by force, thus the crusades.

there were violent clashes between the two religions though, but most of the ones that involved Muslim aggression happened after the crusades.

Yes not allowing the Christians to worship in their holy places, This of course cause a crusades.

However I will admit that saladin was much more merciful then the crusaders. He allowed some to go back to the family after being captured. Also will comment that he ordered that no Jew or Christian should be harmed when they took Jerusalam back.

Templer Knights were actually like todays Islamic terrorist(not afriad to die) this scared alot of muslims and ruined alot of moral.

Jews are the ones who really got hurt the most imo.... Both Muslims and Christians treated them bad...

But to answer your question... I don't think much has changed with the muslims... The last pope said that the crusades were wrong and not right aswell as the treatment of Jews. He ordered a day of prayer for forgiveness of this. I haven't heard any Muslim saying they were sorry... They also tend to stick with their barbaric ways such as beheading and Calling Jihads. Not to mention they throw huge fits of rage(not very loving like) when something comes out that disagrees with the Qu'ran (example would be the cartoons of mohammad and the chants of death to isreal!)

the two have been/are violent and oppressive to rule, subdue and dominate human beings to rigidity them to transform. it is a black mark interior the historic past of the Roman Catholic church. between the various black marks. i think the Roman Catholic church grew to become into attempting to reclaim areas of the Holy Land for Christianity and the Christian East that have been taken over via Muslim rule. In doing so as that they attacked, tortured and killed Muslims, Russian and Greek Orthodox Christians, Jews and different political enemies of the pope. Crusading declined promptly throughout the sixteenth century with the introduction of the Protestant Reformation and the decline of papal authority.

They know more about the world than they did then, technology has made them world savvy and the more radical ones, angrier. I don't think most Muslims are crazy, I do think a lot of them are caught up in the craziness. The real point to me is the twisting of the religion to the point it's OK to kill innocent people. I will never understand that and it makes us think all of them are that way. It's religion at its' worst being used as a weapon against mankind.

Hopefully it won't take 200 years of sending messages back and forth for the Residents of the Mideast to realize we don't want their sand or their camels.

the difference seems to be the difference between warfare between nations and terrorist warfare...

quite a big difference...

you just can't kill the "kind of terror"... since there is no king of terror...

there were kings of the old Muslim empires though...

it was much more grouped, nationalized warfare back then....

That they are called "Muslims," which is a politically correct term of appeasement. Kowtowing to OPEC and the cheap-labor sweatshops is why the traitors in the media and the White House bend over backwards to please the MOSLEMS.

They have had a bad couple of centuries, now thanks to asymetrical warfare they feel they can roll the punches with the big guys. Oh and the whole world will ultimately become muslim.
