In human beings they are produced by the ovarios (the female ones, or ovums, and the testicles (the male ones, or spermatozoos)
A woman is born already with thousands of inmature ovums, one of which gets mature each 28 days since the first period. When it is completely mature, it falls down from one of the ovarios to the matrix or utero, and from there, it can fertilised by a spermatozoo or not, as you know.
A man is born without spermatozoos, they are created from cells that come from the "walls" of the testicles and together with the seminal liquid they form the semen.

A gamete is a specialized germ cell that fuses with another gamete during fertilization (conception) in organisms that reproduce sexually. In species which produce two morphologically distinct types of gametes, and in which each individual produces only one type, a female is any individual which produces the larger type of gamete -- called an ovum (or egg) — and a male produces the smaller type — called a spermatozoon (or sperm cell) in animals, and a pollen grain in higher plants. Understand?

if the dihybrid cross is AaBb x AaBb then all offsprings will be homozygous for both traits. therefore, the fraction would be 4/4.
