Pls answer both questions.

Well, I think it is because the Census Burea doesn't consider a fetus a real person. Give you an example. A baby can and does affect the economy. A baby already born eats and drinks and you have to get clothes for him or her. The Census Burea probably does NOT consider a woman pregnant-she eats more since she is pregnant-she has to buy bigger clothes (maturity clothes) since she is pregnant. She also goes to her doctor more since she is pregnant. This all affects the economy-but the Census Burea does not consider it in their stupid mind. I often wondered why they don't. The second question is simple. One on the way means that parents are expecting another kid. Most people refeer to kids as ones that you can SEE. You can't see a kid or a fetus in the womb unless you have an altrasound with you everywhere you go. Basically, the child is a part of the mom-once born-not as much a part of you now.

Your answer to both is that fetuses are NOT considered human beings.

All respected medical authorities confirm this notion - I hope you didn't hear some anti-choice jargon from someone who was just trying to preach to you against abortion.

The truth is that fetuses are considered fetuses...and even then, that's only at a certain point in thier development. Prior that, the collection of cells has other names...zygote, etc.

people used to kill toddlers after beginning. yet in the previous due 1800s pediatrics replaced into invented, and the keenness created for the baby led to an entire rejection of infanticide practices. yet with the upward push in women folk's lib, and the creation of recent surgical operation concepts, the practice of infanticide ventured into the womb. medical doctors comprehend they are killing toddlers. They rationalize it. meaning they make up fake excuses. explanation why they did no longer provide the infant a burial replaced into considering might contradict their clarification (their fake excuses). as an instance, while people desperate to question the practice of partial-beginning abortion, the place they stab the infant in the back of the pinnacle and suck the brains out, they did no longer call a coroner for a assertion. rather, they called a psychiatrist. Psychiatrists informed the courts that people could possibly invent fake excuses. on the different hand, calling the coroner might have shown the reason for dying as homicide.

you must first have a recorded live birth to be counted in the census. to your 2nd question, Children are human beings whether born yet or not. We say we have 2kids and one on the way because the lil one has not yet been born to live and breathe without the help of its mothers placenta. Mom and baby are as one by connection of the umbilica cord. They are 2 once the umbilical cord is cut!

Technically, the baby doesn't count unless it has taken a breath outside of the womb.

It's like when a pregnant woman is murdered, it's not a double murder, because the baby wasn't born yet. Unless they can prove that the baby has taken a breath outside of the womb.

Fetuses are not human beings - until they have taken their first breath.

We could if we wanted to.

In Korea for example, people count their age according to when they're concived.

So if you're 20 years old, you're really 20 years and 9 months old.

Ask a Korean if you don't believe me.
