I just bought my son PS 2. Unfortunately i am not familiar with how it works . He wants to be able to save the levels where he stops the game in order to continue from there next time he plays . Am i right in thinking he needs a memory card ? If so would 8MB card be sufficient enough ?

Thats exactly what he needs. He shouldnt need more than 8MB, thats enough to save roughly 12-15 games. Each game requires a different amout.

the 8mb card holds enough information for many games, as has already been said. it averages around 15 dollars for one card, and like 24 dollars for two cards.

if you're lucky, you can go into an eb games, or some simliar computer/console game store and find a used ps2 card.

then you start the ps2 with no games in it, just the card, and then you can select the card and erase whatever data is already on them

it's cheaper and works just as well as a new card

Yes a memory Card would be good for saving all the levels...an 8 MB one would be fine...During the game it will ask you to save or some games now have autosave...

initially, i will enable you comprehend procedures the enjoying cards paintings....maximum of them are 8 Mb enjoying cards... you are able to hold many saves from diverse video games on the comparable card. as quickly as there are too many diverse saves on the cardboard, then it rather is complete. it works very like a working laptop or workstation complicated force or a flash memory stick. previously you go deleting your toddlers's stored video games, i might merely purchase yet another memory card. they are maybe 10 greenbacks. in case you are able to desire to clean area from the cardboard you have, be useful to do it with your toddlers....they could particularly resent you in case you delete the incorrect stuff. look for saves from video games they do no longer play anymore. To delete saves, boot up the PS2 and not employing a disk in it. choose the memory card icon. there will be a grid full of icons representing stored video games. The icons usually used correspond with the game they are from. (i.e. soccer participant icon for a soccer game.) you are able to delete stored video games from this exhibit screen by potential of choosing them and selecting delete
