Yahoo servers just suck big time.

Yeah, that just happened to me-like 4 or 5 times. The computer would just sit there, at first I though something was wrong with my computer.

I've only had the problem a few times, and no idea why. I ended up rebooting my system to get in this time (kept claiming server wasn't responding).
Might be, since its a Beta, that the number of us trying to get in here are overwhelming the servers they've got dedicated to Answers.
I've gotten the impression that the number of users is going up pretty much exponentially... and I doubt they planned for that, particularly for a Beta project.

Gosh, I've never had that problem. Maybe it's because of where you live or the weather, things like that. The only time I can't get on YA is when I have no electricity from a storm, lol.

You either have too mant things downloaded if thats it i would start deleting some thing on your computer!If that is not it i think alot of people are on yahoo!so the server gets slower!!!!!

Yes, i believe this is due to the fact that so many people are on here at once and the site becomes slow.

It's happening more and more. Think their system needs a bit of an upgrade to handle more users.

Today I think it's heavy traffic. I use Firefox, keep getting "timed out, try again' may be busy". Well, no shet.

Thanks Joni. I thought it was just my computer. I had just downloaded a microsoft program and thought I'd messed things up. I guess YA is just having problems.
