Someone made a comment on here that you should read the horoscope for your ascending sign, not your sun sign. That would mean I should be reading the horoscope for Scorpio (my ascending), not Pisces (my sun).
Could someone clear this up for me? Do you read the horoscope for your sun sign or ascendant?

Reading the horoscope, you would look for your sun sign. The generalized info is based on the sun sign because it is the strongest factor.
This means that you do not want to look for your rising sign or moon sign in newspaper or magazine (examples) astrological articles.
The sun and rising and moon signs help define who you are and what your are, what kind of person. There are powerful indicators. There are lots of other factors and combinations of factors--but they require a full horoscope to be done and interpreted, an expert science and art.

The Sun sign is the most important placing of your Natal Chart, following your Sun sign is your Rising (Ascendant sign). For you, Pisces/Scorpio is you in and out, so you can read both.

Your sun sign represents your personality and characteristics,likes and dislikes. Your rising (ascendant) is how you display these traits to others and your moon sign represents your emotions. All three should pretty much give you a picture of who you are.

If you get your personal horoscope which is done by your birth time it is correct most of the time.
I can't remember which horoscope email it is but you get both your sun sign and your rising in the one email I think it is
