Im looking to sell ebooks but i dont want to purchase them off ebay and i want them to be decent not worthless information.

The best thing is to seek out the publishers you want and buy directly from them. If you specifically love old books, as I do, you may find Dover Publications useful. They specialize in books old enough to be free of copyright, and so they don't have to pay royalties, and can make them cheap. The link is below.

Otherwise, take some of your favorite books down off the shelf, see who the publisher was, and type that name into a search engine. I doubt there is a single US publisher that does not have a web site.
