i have to take a test with a partner..i usually partner up with my really good friend..but we always end up with not so great grades...this time i actually get the information so i know i will do good, but a really smart girl in class asked me to work with her..i dont know what to do because i really need a good grade but i cant let my friend down like that..even though its only this one time i'll feel really bad if i got a good grade and she got a bad grade because i didnt work with her..i feel horrible... i talked to her about it and she said that she would prefer to work with me but its still my choice...help me who should i work with..

I appreciate your situation. You would not be betraying your friend to elect to move forward with your own strength. It will be an opportunity for her self discovery as well. Think of it as an experiment and assure her that, though you want a good outcome for both, you are concerned that your personal friendship does'nt benifit either of you when it comes to scholastics.

Well when it comes to school you need to be more focused on it that just hanging out with your friends. If this girl is really your friend she should understand and plus you need good grades to get into a good college. Choose the other girl instead of your friend, choose the good grade instead of your friend. It's up to you make the right choice. Good Luck.
