You will undoubdedly be getting microwave and/or other radiation from it so the greater distance from your body the better I would say. On another note-I see people sometimes with mobile phones in their top pocket switched on. This is right over their hearts. I would say there is damage being done. I think the only research that is carried out on these phones and computers is by vested interests; Owners of these companies give out their own data.Independant researchers find it very difficult to get grants for their investigations. How much money does the government make from mobile phones? And the companies who make and run the networks? Is it in the governments interests to grade them as harmful?

You should keep it on the table. Laptops can get hot. A guy burned his legs because he didn't realize how hot his laptop was getting since it heated up gradually.

The biggest risk is your clothing blocking the vents and the Laptop overheating.

'Laptop' is not a literal term - keep it on the table (the laptop, not your meat & 2 veg)

confident, ultrasounds are risk-free..there are easily no side consequences on the fetus..I had multiple ultrasounds with my 2d being pregnant..infant replaced into advantageous. I even have not at all heard of any problems with the infant from ultrasounds...that's in comparison to an xray so there is no radiation or something.

Yes, it's perfectly safe just getting hot because you have restricted the air flow around it.
