No. That's just the sort of thing that parent's say so you won't bring your PS2 downstairs when they're out. What it's bad for (apart from annoying the neighbours with the Dolby 5.1 surround sound system cranked up to 20) is when you take it back up and plug it into your 15'' portable and it all looks a bit crap.
