My parents were happy in their marriage and loved eachother until the day they died.
I hope I can achieve the same with my current boyfriend who is the sweetest and most gentle man I have ever met.

No, my mom was married 4 times and my dad 3 times. My grandparents are setting a good example for me, as they have been married about 40 years.

hmmm....well I wouldn't exactly know if they set a good example for a married couple, but they have been a pretty good divorced couple.
You see they divorced when I was a few months old, but if I'm correct it wasn't because they didn't love each other--things just didn't work out. But since then not once have I seen them argue, fight, or conduct any acts of violence toward each other at all. Though they have been divorced for so long now, they haven't lost one ounce of respect for each other. They remain good friends and are still there for each other in certain times of need.
But whatever. I still sort of hate my dad.

Oh God No, They are the picture perfect definition of a dysfunction couple. But it works for them because they are still married for 11 years. But because of my parents I have serve commitment and intimacy problems. I don't think I want to get married because of them.

If you consider being separated and not yet divorced for 11 years and both have new relationships than yes.............they are the perfect example of an unhappy and dysfunctional married couple, thank god they separated.

My parents aren't together but every time i see a couple thats been together for like 20+ years its a huge inspiration!!!

Absolutely. My parenst have been married over 34 years and still love each other today just as much as they ever have. They are awesome. I just wish marriage was as easy as they make it seem.
