Oprah is not hateworthy. She is not a shining example of a Renaissance woman, but she is certainly very current and very successful. She has made a difference in a lot of people's lives. and she has to be admired for being such an attractive 50-yr-old.

I notice a trend. The people who dislike Oprah are white. I have arrived at a conclusion: WHITE PEOPLE DONT LIKE TO SEE POWERFUL AND RICH BLACK PEOPLE. Get the hell over it and stop wining. Because she pretends like she's some poor little "colored" girl, that gets to pick on white people because she's "colored." ( I was quoting Doperah when I used the word "colored.") She is anything but poor (and skinny for that matter)
