Area = pi radius squared
A = 3.1416 x 15 x 15 = 706.86 sq feet soccer field
A = 3,1416 x 13,5 x 13.5 = 572.5566 sq cm Flowerpot
To do these areas use the formula "pi" which equals 3.1416
then find the radius. If you know the diameter, the radius is half of the diameter. Then square the radius. That is multiply the radius by the radius. multiply the radius by the radius by 3.416 and you obtain your answer for finding the area of circles.

Basically to find the area of any circle, you use pi*r(squared). where r is the radius of the circle. The radius is half of the diameter, or the distance from the exact middle point of the circle to any point on the outside edge. Pi is a constant, which can be estimated at about 3.14. There is also a button on most calculators that inputs pi.
For the first problem, you could do this. First, you know 20 feet is the diameter. Now you take half of that to find the radius. Then you square that (multiply it by itself), and finally you multiply this by pi.
This will work for any circle at all, as long is it actually is a circle.

The area of a circle is A = pi *r^2.
to find the radius, you need to divide the diameter by two because the radius is just half of the diameter.
once you have the radius, just substitute into the formula and solve!

the area of a circle is pi* radius * radius. The radius is half the diameter. pi is 22/7
Hope this helps you. Sorry i don't give the actual answers, thats up to you.

section= pi * radius squared so, you are able to desire to have a pi button on your calculator take pi situations your radius squared. your radius is 4, 0.5 of 8 and four squared or 4*4=sixteen. your answer is sixteen*pi. circumference= 2*radius*pi your radius is 4, 0.5 of 8. 2*4=8. end out the formuala 8*pi is your answer.

for a circle, A=π r^2
1) d=20'
r=d/2=20/2=10'
A=π 10^2=100π=314ft^2
2) d=27cm
r=d/2=27/2=13.5cm
A-π r^2=π 13.5^2=182.25π=573cm^2

Area = 3.14(0.5 * diameter )^2
area = pi (0.5 * diameter)^2
(0.5 * diameter)^2 means (0.5 * diameter) * (0.5 * diameter) which is means (0.5 x diameter) x (0.5 x diameter)
