To find the radius of a circle it is necessary to find the diameter first. then the radius is half of the diameter

A = pi r squared

A = Area
Pi = 3.14
r = radius

113.04 = 3.14 x r squared

radius squared = 113.04 divided by 3.14 = 36

the root of 36 = 6 feet

Do the others in the same manner and you will learn

Remember, Area = pi * r^2

Therefore, when you divide the area by pi, you are left with r^2. Therefore, take that answer and find the square root of it, and you will then have the radius.

For example 1) A=113.04 Take 113.04/pi = 35.9817
Then take square root of 35.9817 = 5.998
Therefore, the radius is 5.998 m

2,)area =254.34, radius = 8.998 m

3.)area = 153.86, radius = 6.998 m

A = 113∙04 ft²
Area of circle = π r²
→
π r² = 113∙04 ft²
r² = 113∙04 / π ft²
r = √(113∙04 / π) ft²
r = √(35∙981 749 53) ft
r = ± 5∙998 478 935 ft
r ≈ ± 6∙0 ft
r ≈ + 6∙0 ft

Since area of a circle = pi * r^2, once you divide by pi you still need to square root your answer to get the radius!

A=π r^2 so when you divide A/π, you get r^2 not r. you have to take the square root to get r.

1) A=113.04 ft^2
r^2=35.98ft^2
r=5.998 or 6 ft

2) A=254.36m^2
r^2=A/π=80.96m^2
r=8.998 or 9 m

3) A=153.86 in^2
r^2=A/π=48.975
r=6.998 or 8 in
