Trail Dust Steak House in Aubrey, Texas is the best, hands down. It takes a little while to drive there, but it's worth the trip. To the best of my knowlege, this is the original "Trail Dust" restaurant.

Mid-price ($20-30)
- The Keg Steakhouse (** BEST CHOICE **)
My personal choice for a great steak that's not too expensive. All steaks come with a potato, 'Classic Dinners' include a salad as well. Appetizers are $7-12 but taste great. Some appetizers are smaller in size though. Desserts are really great too.

Great ambiance (Plano) at the restaurant but comfortable enough for you to come in jeans and sneakers so it's good for date or just for casual dining. Service is top-notch. The wait staff are really friendly and make sure you're taken care of.

My favorite is the Rib-Eye which is roughly $27 (for 23 oz. I think). They also offer seasonal specials where they offer a sirloin with some topping (like White Cheddar Cheese sauce with Crab Meat). But you can substitute the sirloin for a different steak for the price of the chosen steak + the cost of the topping (~ $7). I usually do this on the Rib-Eye and it's fantastic. The steaks can also be cooked Chicago style where the outside is slightly charred while the inside is cooked to order.

Inexpensive (~ $12-20)
-Uncle Julio's (for their Carne Asada)
This is a great second choice to the Keg. Even though this is a Mexican restaurant, their Carne Asada is an extremely savory dish. The seasonings and flavor are superb and it's cooked very tenderly. Uncle Julio's provides Mexican rice, bean soup. pico de gallo & guac so you get quite a bit for < $20.

-Outback (includes side, soup/salad)
Seasoned steaks so they have a bit of zing. Lots of other great food on the menu. I enjoy them for casual dining.

-Saltgrass (includes side, soup/salad)
Their higher end cuts are pretty good but are in $20-25 range. Cool thing is they provide a reference card for you to see which parts of the cow certain steaks come from.

OTHER OPTIONS:
High-price ($30-40)
Cost is for steak alone. Side items are extra, except for Texas DeBrazil.
-Stone Trail Restaurant (may include side items.. sorry, it was a long time ago)
-Ruth Chris (my favorite on the high end for food & service)
-Smith & Wollensky
-Texas DeBrazil (prix-fixed churrascaria but they offer good selection of meats. Lunch menu is more affordable.)
-Three Forks (steaks are not as good as above listed but it's more suited for ambiance. This is probably a good date place tho.)

Have not tried Bob's, Del Frisco's, Fogo De Chao (churrascaria), Pappa Bros but I heard nothing but great things about Del Frisco's.

Zio's is pretty good but I prefer Vito's on N. May ave. for Italian. Cattlemen's Steak house on Agnew is really good for steaks. If you're going to Bricktown, most everything there is a bit pricey and you have to pay for parking but Nonna's in Bricktown is good. You could try Ted's Cafe Escondido for Mexican food, there are 4 in the OKC area.

The absolute best is Chanberlain's. Kind of expensive although there is a 25% discount in the Best Of coupon book.

Sullivan's on the Tollway is really good, and they have 1/2 priced bottles of wine on Sundays (for wines under $200), which is a steal! Great service too.
